Hi
I’m stuck on two questions in the above category so would appreciate some help.
The answers could contain words like- heath, key, grove, garden etc.

1. A shrub with small wood in Nottinghamshire(10)

2. Old name for streets +top of nail in County Durham(9)

This is a Save the Children fundraiser, so thanks in anticipation.

Seen as
Hazelgrove
Gateshead
Nb Gateshead fits the clue but I believe it is actually in Tyne and Wear
although historically it was part of County Durham

yes, the title of the quiz is misleading isn't it as it seems to be place names made up from things you'd find between highways and byways
as well as some from words for byways/highways.
Ive answered Gateshead before so I agree with that.
Hazelgrove- teh only one I know is in Cheshire i think
Thanks. I hadn't heard of that one before
