If you had a choice and the money, where would you choose to live for 6 months of the year , say?

My friend has just gone to join her husband in Dubai, am I jealous?, too bloody right I am..lol
texting me, I am just lying by the pool..blah. blah blah, and it's blowing a hoolie here!
I know I will be told..this has been done before, so what :-o) I am doing it again.
I think it would be somewhere in the Canaries for me or even New Zealand then I could see my sister.
where would you go and why?

I like it here. I know the weather is terrible but there is something about England that is - I don't know how to describe it. I know I have my roots well down (like a cabbage) but I just can't leave.

No - no good. I have had a rethink and come to the same conclusion. Looks like I am just an old stick-in-the-mud. Can't think of anywhere else I would like to be.
Probably the Algarve
If I had the money Bobbi I would either buy or have a House built in a spot overlooking the Sea especially an estuary. I would have a Conservatory as an observation area for Birdwatching, equipped with the best Scopes/ Tripods etc.
My travelling days are over for now but I would not object to the occasional Holiday abroad occasionally, possibly to the Far East, South America or USA.

I'd stay in Scotland. I would just have more houses in more places here :o). I do like a bit of sun, but i'd get homesick too quickly I think.

I loved Anglesey but I think I would feel terribly sad visiting there again, my Dad passed away when he was there
