I took out car insurance with admiral not long ago around 6th Jan. However I have come to realise that I gave the wrong amount of no claims years in my application. I put one year no claims instead of two.

will there be an admin fee to ring up and change or is there a some sort of 14 day cooling off period.?

Also does anyone know how much its likely to take the premium down by with 2 years no claims instead of 1?

thanks.

Hi BobbyBobBob

I dont think Eddie51 is correct in this instance - your insurance company, Admiral, will not be able to repudiate a claim due to the fact you have not declared enough bonus! Insurance companies can only refuse claims where there has been deliberate non-disclosure of a material fact which would affect the insurers decision to take on your insurance policy. You do not have to worry about non-payment of a claim in this instance i assure you!

Basically, just send in your proof of no claims to admiral, they will apply the relevant additional discount (prorata'd) and then possibly charge you an admin. However, ensure you do this as you will lose your extra year if you dont!!

I hope this is of some help :)
