It's very simple, you lay odds and someone has bet if they think it's a good punt. Join betfair is the best way!

A mate of mine used to do this down the pub. He offered better odds than the bookies and no tax (when you had to pay tax). I think he made a few quid before he jacked it in.

dont, thats my advice. i worked for ladbrokes&corals. depressing places to work, and a little dangerous
