Never. It wouldn't cross my mind.
Have done...Or if I haven't got any cash on me they use money from their money box and I have to pay it back. They make sure I do...lol
I'm presuming we're talking a couple of quid...

I`ve stopped giving pocket money to my grandchildren as their mother nicks it and never returns it to them, so I buy them things instead.
no, never. Why on earth should i promise to put it back :)
My sister would happily give 'money box loans' and charge 5% per day interest work out the APR on that one....

I have done too but only to get 'change'!!
The other day my son took £2 from his money box for his dinner money. I went to the bank later that day and gave him it back when he got home.

I'm a bit like the queen...I rarely have cash...
lol, i dont really. The kids dont get pocket money, they are too young. But when they get birthday money it goes to me and i will then allow them to buy something they want with it.

My change jar gets counted up every so often and the money split between their bank accounts.

I dont have the need to borrow from them, but if they had money in change tin and i was broke and couldnt afford to feed them then, yes, i would "borrow" it
My other option if I don't have cash....I phone the corner shop and get him to give them money :-)
I have done - they always have cash and sometimes if you are on your way out somewhere it saves a detour to get to a cash machine. I do however always put in an IOU so that I don't forget. On the other hand - if we are out and the kids see something they want to buy - I say that they can pay me back for it later, but I often don't take the money out their banks, so they do very well out of it really.
Same as ummm, if I don't have any change on me etc. He always knows and never forgets!
