Well as you know (if anybody is interested) I got my 2003 toyota corolla stolen from outside my house about 3-4 weeks ago. I have since bought a 2006 toyota corolla about 6 days now and I am realising that because I am on my own I dont need such a big car and also my car onfidence has diminished with the recent events I could certainly drive a smaller car.

Can anybody tell me can I go back to the garage I bought it off and ask them to (a) either to take it back (b) or sell it for me again) (c) for them to get me a smaller car.

Thanks for any answers.

you can but i expect that you will lose money on any deal
Well Connemmara, you could certainly ask them, they might be happy to oblige with one of the options, I don't think they are under any real obligation to help, but hopefully they'll be sympatchic if you explain your reasons for the change of heart, Good luck with it....................

I know that Woofgang and I guess I am prepared to lose about £1,000 but to get a smaller car in the long event perhaps it will be worth it.
you might make up the loss on cheaper tax and inurance and lower running costs if you buy wisely.
