my tumble dryer broker.the repair people took the broken one and left me with a loan machine.I have since asked twice for them to come and collect it and they havent...I have a feeling that after 6 months the machine will belong to me..is that correct?...thanks in advance!

Not that I am, aware of. Perhaps you are thinking of the limitation period which stops people bringing civil claims after a lapse of time. The usual limitation period is six years from the date the cause of action arose.

I don't think its yours. However if you are keen for them to come and pick it up you could write them a letter giving them formal notice that you will be charging them storing costs from a given date - it nearly always gets them to come and pick it up!

Alternatively just sit quietly and keep hold of it.
