Are they any good?

I am bored and have been toodleing about the internet and found a site that (supprisingly) doesn't charge for the benifit of this exbankers knowledge.

He says that if you join curtain online casinos you can make money of the roulette wheel by spcific betting ie: 1 on black if that doesn't win then keep doubleing your bet until it does then swp colour and do the same. Aparently it doesn't work in proper casinos as they twig what your doing!!

Now I'm not a particular gambler and even less so on line and just wondered if this has actually worked for any Abers and what they thought of it?

I am always sceptical of these things and at first wondered how he made money from it. Then I thought perhaps he makes money by getting all his 'punters' to sign up to the casinos via his links?
What do you think?

PS not sure if this should be in business but couldn't think of anywhere else.

Ah yes, the old Martindale system. Have a look at this site.

Everytime time you are doubling up you are effectively just trying to get your first 1 back. What if you lose your nerve once you get onto big money. or if you run out of money, or the betting limit is exceeded.

Also see this one- slightly different but it illustrates theflaw

A bloke I work with was convinced he was going to make his fortune doing exactly this until everyone said what a fool he was.

If you want to make money from betting you really need to put your money on something that you can realistically predict, like football matches, etc.

Roulette is a game of chance and online roulette is,in my opinion, potentially fixed. Because after all all you're doing is playing a computer game. How do you know what's going on inside the program?

I don't gamble much, maybe a flutter on the national (although I even forgot that today).

I just couldn't figure out how he made money from 'giving away his secret'. I still think he gets a commision everytime someone signs up from his web page link!
