I am changing from Endsleigh as they messed me about big time, what providers can you recommend I am looking for good customer service, online application process and reliable payouts. I don't own anything specialist just basic household products upto afew grand within a rented house I rent alone which is in a good safe area.

I havent heard much about 'who's good and who isn't' so Im here looking for advice.

Thanks in advance

i work for endsleigh and i wouldnt insure with them !
well i did until they may me redundant so they could save money by closing all the branches down! There staff are all based in call centers now, so have lost all their reputation!
Esure are good!
Why not just go 'on line' and take the cheapest quote you find. Make sure the cover given is what you need though. You will probably find that all the companies are the same - good service when selling, lousy when claiming.

Thanks for the answers
i work for halifax home insurance and i can honestly say its not that bad...

i would get a quote over the phone though because the website is pretty rubbish and theres always people compaining aboout all the errors on iit...but apart from that its pretty good

good luck!!xx
I've alwys had good experiences with Direct Line and Norwich Union.
give the post office a try

we use a panel of 18 providers to get the best quote.

you can get an immediate quote on-line, and adjust the amount of cover easily enough

there's a 25 cashback offer too if you use the promo code 0051047

well worth the 5mins the quote takes
