i am a discharged bankruptcy and cannot get accepted for no form of credit of even a bank account can you help

There are several banks that offer a simple account.You may not always get a cheque book and guarantee card.Try the Alliance and Leicester or Citi Bank but tell them that you want a simple account and about your circumstances, the automated proceedures don't work as you will be declined if you apply on line. I think the Co Op may have a service as well
Discharged bankruptcies are not so much of a problem nowadays, it may be that you have other forms of adverse against your name. Most mortgage lenders will use Experian to check your credit but you can apply for your own credit report to check what they see. Just go to the experian website and request it for �2
Try the bank of scotland there basic bank account comes with a solo debit card.
The Co-op bank have a Cash Minder account that offers an Electron card, my brother a dishcharged bankrupt has just opened on.
