My recent ex employer has my incorrect NI number...

... I was made redunant an few weeks ago and the DSS now inform my ex employer of 5 years has transposed to digits in my national insurance number.

The DSS say they can sort iy out but could I sue my employer for culpable neglect????

What would be the point of that?

It was an error, nothing more. The DSS are sorting it out, you will not suffer any loss so I really can't see why you would want to sue anybody.
Has this "culpable neglect" caused you any problems? What a kn0b! I bet you made an error or two while you worked for them perhaps they can sue you for being a brainless tw&t!

It sounds quite a simple mistake tim that any busy person could make- a bit like typing "to digits" when one means "two digits".
would you still be talking about suing had you found this out whilst still employed?
