Depending on what youre selling, have a look at wholesalers websites. Then create your own website using their prices plus a markup and covering yourself for delivery costs etc. Sign up with a company which provides the shopping facility such as Romancart. Decide whether you want to take payment using Paypal or something more 'professional' - again Romancart offer this service as do a number of other companies. Keep records of all your sales, costs etc for tax purposes.

cheers twenty20, thats a really good piece of advice, even the romancart website seems good to me. how do i find wholesalers websites on the net? im a complete novice.

u mentioned romancart and also said a number of other companies, have u any names so that i coulds do a check on them.
Do your own research, use Google, that's what it's for.

If you have no idea about these things, do you not think it's probably not the best thing to be doing? If you don't know how to find wholesalers I'd suggest another line of money-making
I run an Internet business from home, all be it selling digital products, not physical ones. If I were selling physical product though I would have a good look at Ebay. You can create your own online shop within it and tap into the vast traffic which they have waiting for you.

The most difficult thing for any new web business is traffic. It's not as easy to get as people think, so leveraging Ebay's existing marketplace, to begin with, isn't a bad idea.

And by the way, its not "unprofessional" to use Paypal. It is convenient though, and these days, you don't need a paypal account to *buy" using paypal either.
