Whistle while you talk

Just come off the phone after talking with my step-father and I , as always , ended up with the phone held at least 8" from my ear and trying not to giggle. I don't know what's wrong with his false teeth but there's an alarming amount of shrill whistling coming from them when he talks ....lol xxxx

Thats a funny story, there used to be a comedy sketch on Chewin the Fat with a bloke who 'whistled' every time he said the letter 'S' but I cant find a clip lol

It's hard not to laugh when you're not supposed to! I remember my husband fixing it with his mate to phone our house & pretend he was a phone engineer testing the line! He had me standing with the phone in a corner of the room & asking what the reception was like, then saying it's ***** you daft ******* They were getting me back for a prank I'd played on my husband with the lottery! xxx

Something I can't stand when some people talk, be it in person or on the telly, is when they make some letters sound "wet"...I don't know how to describe it, except that I find it really creepy and it sounds like their emphasizing the "physical" side of talking...It makes my skin crawl...

It probably doesn't make sense for anyone else, but there you go! lol

I wrote down the winning numbers mamma & told him we'd won! He was in a syndicate at work, what I didn't expext him to do was phone one of them all excited! I went sweaty!!!! I had to tell him :0(

I use to clean for two elderly ladies, one of them whose teeth didn't fit properly, so every now and then you'd hear a kind of clicking! lol xxx
