Hi

I'm going to New York next week and whilst out there I plan on buying an item costing between 1000 - 1500. I have the money in my account but was wondering if it would be cheaper to take the money in travellers cheques or just pay for the item on my card (which would probably incur a fee).

Can anyone advise or maybe there's another option I don't know about.

Thanks

Paying for it on your credit card is going to be cheaper than TCs.

Don't forget the duty you will have to pay when you bring it home.....
