I propose issuing a statatory demand in bankruptcy on a debtor. How do I find out if he is already bankrupt ?

Is this your only option left? I have never been able to do this because I cant help thinking of his wife & kids.

Its not just whether he is already bankrupt - he may have an IVA in progress not showing yet.
