A1 is a retail shop
A2 is for financial and professional services that are appropriate to a shopping area. Insurance agents, building societies, betting shops, that sort of thing.
A3 is restaurants and cafes where food and drinks is consumed on the premises.
A4 is for pubs and wine bars
A5 is for hot food takeaways for consumption off the premises.
