I would be interesested to know what �50k in 1933 is worth today. Thanks in advance

According to this site, �1 in 1933 was worth almost �48 in 2006's money. I calculate that this is equivalent to �50 in today's money

So �50,000 in 1933 is equivalent to �2.5 million now!

Of course this is just a guide- it depends what you would spend the money on. Cars and electrical goods for example have probably not gone up by anywhere near as much as the rate of overall inflation, whereas wages have probably gone up by much more.
