I was renting a property to the council through a management company until recently when the lease expired, the tenants stayed in the property for an extra week from the agreed date of vacation. The contract stated that if the tenants do not vacate when agreed that the agreed rent will be paid on a daily basis. The management company have acknowledged that they owe us the money which amounts to about �300 rent and �250 float by email and letter but have still not paid after nearly 2 months, what's the best course of action now?

Hi ,

The only downfall you have with this is that the agent can reserve the right to the contract with the tennents to become nul and void because of breach of contract from the end user (tennents)so it is soley the responibility of the tennents are the tennets and they can clame squatters rights.
