My son and his friend played on one half of the garden during winter and now there are big patches of, basically barren/muddy areas. One of the neighbours is quite rightly upset at this and has been taking photographs. I will try and re-seed but what, if anyone knows, is the legal position re this. I live in Scotland.

whose lawn is it? if he allows kids to play on it he can't be upset when they do!
