Unsolicited faxes

We have a business line at home connected to a fax machine. Recently we've been receiving lots of unsolicited faxes advertising mobile phone services, car leasing, etc. On the fax there's a phone number to ring to unsubscribe which I did, but 3 weeks later and we are still receiving 2 or 3 a week. Is there a body you can complain to about this sort of thing, something like the telephone preference service, except for faxes?

Thanks redcrx. You're a star!
I had a similar problem and registered at the proposed site. For a while this was very successful, however some faxes do get through and so you will still need to fax back the stop message which should be at the bottom of the fax
Just check that the stop message number isn't premium rate.....
If it is a premium rate number, check this out first!
