This will be interesting....i'm a gardener and work outside all year. The garden i work in faces north east and doesn't get any sun from November to February.

I wonder if my boss will allow me to sit in the shed by a heater all winter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The HSE guidance publication, Thermal Comfort in the Workplace, seeks to define thermal comfort, and states:
'An acceptable zone of thermal comfort for most people in the UK lies roughly between 13C (56F) and 30C (86F), with acceptable temperatures for more strenuous work activities concentrated towards the bottom end of the range, and more sedentary activities towards the higher end.
