I ask this because my friend has been offered a part time job. At the mo she is claiming child allowance and tax credit for her 3 children. She gets roughly 150 per week. She doesn't claim anything for herself and her husband is out of work and doesn't even claim the dole (much to her annoyance!!). How much is she allowed to earn per year before she has to pay NI and tax. She has been told varying amounts from 20 per week to 4K per year. Advice would be appreciated
