I have a car agreement with black horse finance and have never missed a payment.I have missed septembers payment because i wanted to sell the car, so they have charged me a �175.00 collection activity fee,what does this mean ?

I would suggest you contact Black Horse. You cannot sell a car that has been purchased on finance untill you have paid for it in full
Claim the excessive charges back, Theres a lot of information on Black Horse in http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk
the collection activity charge is made up of different charges throughout the lifetime of your agreement. They dont need to be paid straight away but they need to notify you of the charges you have whenever they contact you. However if you give them a call and explain your situation they have alot of flexibility to waive these.
