According to the Post Office website, you cannot take Bosnian Dinars into the country. They recommend US dollars.
Yes, I can't think of a reason to pre-order the currency if going to Bosnia. US Dollars are exchangeable virtually anywhere in the world.

Buildersmate does it apply to Pounds?......are they easy to exchange out there?.....i've always gone to countries where you can get their currency before you go from most banks. So I can only get bosnian currency when I get there, sorry to sound thick:/
gina1960uk, if you were able to take pounds then I think the Post Office would say, instead they recommend US Dollars. Maybe you are best asking at the post Office or in a Travel Agents, they will be able to advise.

And yes, if you take Dollars (or Pounds) you then exchange them for Bosnian Dinar once you get there.
