Basic Bank Account

I have credit problems and have had my bank account closed by the Co-op I need to open another quickly. Does anyone know my best place to go?

try natwest, they have a very basic bank account called a step account, no cheque book but a debit card. Easy to apply for. Hope this helps :-)

Abbey will allow you to open a basic account as well, all you get is a cashpoint card.

Ironically you could get a basic bank account with the Co-op. But I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to.

also the halifax do an easy account no credit checks needed.

I got a good basic account from nationwide, can have direct debits and standing orders with a basic cash card - they opened it quickly and i get online banking. Hope it helps x
