A friend has a with-profits endowment which she needs to sell but has lost the policy document.

The company refuses to provide one, even when she has offered to pay. They also refuse to provide a letter saying whoever buys it can claim when it finishes. Surely she has a right to a copy - what can she do - is there any legalese she could use?
