What are the steps taken by your mortgage company before your house gets reposessed ? I am worried about a friend of mine, she has been made redundant and has not been able to find a permanent job in almost a year, I have been trying to help her as best I can with advice etc, but even though she has told her mortgage company of her predicament, and she has put in a claim to her insurance, this still takes 2 months for it to go through before her mortgage is paid, she also has to have proof that she is claiming job seekers allowance, but how can she do this if she is doing only temporary work which pays peanuts ?
