does anyone know that if after seperation, my husband can force me to sell the house, Both my children are under 16, or has he got to wait until the children have left school?

It would be decided by the courts in the divorce, but he can force you to pay him half of what it is worth....which depending on your financial circumstances you'd need to get the money by remortgage or unfortunately a sale. BUT because of the children, he might come to a mutual agreement that he keeps his name on the deeds entitling him to half the value upon its eventual sale. There is so many technicalities to this one.
The first line of jason's answer is right - it would be decided by the Court (if the two of you can't agree). The second line is not necessarily the case - it is not fixed at half and half. All sorts of issues are taken into account, and the end result depends on the individual circumstances of the marriage.
