Cahing Cheques Made to 'Cash'

I have received a cheque made out to 'Cash' which my local bank has said it is unable to cash as it can't pass through their clearing system. The cheque is not from my account and I want to be able to cash it immediatly, without paying it into an account first. Is it possible to do this?
