When I open a music video on YouTube instead of the music being played, the video plays an advert of 20 - 30 seconds and then closes.

I am using Windows 11 and cannot find a way that music videos will play.

Any help is appreciated

Just had the same thing watching a Tom Jones clip. It's not unusual.

You could subscribe to the paid for YouTube premium service.

Yes sorry I missed the bit about the videos closing. I'm not sure how to stop the adverts other than to pay a fee
