Should I add them up or what?
Question Author
no probably i did not make myself clear. it is the cost of a phone call on a phone bill .Is 0.45 equal to 5p and what would 0.125 be and o.83 be and say 1.25 thanks
BT's phone bills always show the cost of calls before VAT is added so to get the full figure, multiply by 1.175.

It might be that all of the costs are totalled and then rounded up rather than 0.125 (0.15 wth VAT) rounded up to 2p and then added to the next phone call. The latter would result in a higher phone bill.
