Winter Fuel Payment

I am still waiting for my £200 Winter Fuel Payment, which is due this month apparently. Its my first payment.

Has anybody else had theirs yet?

Not yet, it is usually to the end of November/early December

They roll them out alphabetically. I usually get mine the last week of November.

Funnily enough I had just checked our bank account and we received it on 29th November last year so hopefully within a couple of weeks.

Don't forget the £10 Xmas bonus. It would have been about £150 now if it had kept pace with inflation. £10 was the weekly state pension in 1972.

Got mine last Monday , usually it's late November so this year was early.

they should do it in reverse alphabetical order every second year so poor old Zibinski isn't always left waiting till February

Bakers I too had forgotten about it. I have not got mine and my surname starts with A! Will keep an eye out.

It's not alphabetically jackdaw, I'm 'C' and I always get mine after everybody else.

Just now received my letter in the post, will be paid in sometime in the next three weeks. That's my new phone sorted..

It might have something to do with your NI number. I know that that governs what day is pension day.

i am but no 65 yet. did get a nice bonus from EDF Energy a week ago, got some back from my electricity 123 quid i think it was.
