Life in the balance.

Life in the balance.
That's fascinating....and the faster he went, the more they bounced!
That guy certainly understands the physics regarding a fulcrum:)
He'll stay fit, but with two fat and lazy kids.
But they'll know to sit still when told, Hoppy..... :-)
I would even ban buggies, to make the world a healthier place.

Even better, put harnesses on them and they can pull a wheelchair.
Blimey, Hoppy....you'll have them skipping in the womb next!
Most Mums to be complain they already do!

Seriously though, why do so many kids get pushed around in buggies?
Little legs get tired on long walks.....the safest place to be when the parent is shopping?
Do parents still use reins on their toddlers over there?
Some do Stuey, but most just lash their kids down.
Yes, in the back seat of the 4x4:)
I used reins for mine, Stuey....but they're not used much. I had a pushchair as it was called then.....couldn't have managed the shopping...paying and carrying bags home and keep a two year old by my side at the same time....x
I've always wished that I could remember being chauffeured around in my pram taking in the sights and the sounds and the hustle and the bustle and the colours and the smells of the new world I was experiencing...Or is that asking too much?:)
There were no prams to be had in Calgary.....I had one shipped from somewhere.....probably your neck of the woods.....and I was the only person walking around the city pushing a pram.
When I added the canopy to keep the sun off it caused much amusement...x
Gness, I'm harking back to the days when I was a young gaffer being pushed through the vibrant streets, lanes, and alleys of Newcastle-under-Lyme in my posh perambulator.
Stuey, like me you were left outside shops and hairdressers in your posh perambulator. No hope of getting those chariots inside.
More than once my mother forgot and went home without me.

At least, I'm told she forgot.
A well sprung Silver Cross perhaps?...x
Naturally. With a dickie seat for my brother :)
I have a photo of me in it somewhere, and it does have four large wheels; appears to be black; has a large push handle; springs are quite noticeable; and I'd guess from the sidewalk to the top of the sun-hood would be around 4 1/2' feet. It looks like there is a snap on sheet of plastic to keep me from escaping.
