Read in my local paper about a bookmakers being turned over. Do there always seem to be more violent robberies as Christmas approaches or just that we notice it more?

Armed robbery at my local supermarket 500 yards away, yesterday morning at 9.30 am - as said above I don't think it is tied in with the season.

Perhaps not, mamya.I probably just notice it more. Criminals aren't going to give up just because I think it's the season of goodwill, lol!

Don't know about crimes but I do know that when I was at the pit we always seemed to get more serious accidents in the build up to Christmas.
