It is the receiver that pays any customs charges so you should pay only for the actual cost of shipping.
There are no costs at this end that I can think of.

The customer is responsible for dealing with costs at his end which may well include customs duty, clearance fees. And given it's Australia there might be a fumigation fee, particularly if it's second hand 'old' wooden stuff
If you state in the contract an Incoterm it will specify who pays what costs. The most likely in your case would be 'Free on Board' (you pay to the ships rail at the point of export) or 'Free Carrier Alongside' (you pay to the side of the ship at the port of export. If they are paying for the freight from your place of business it would be 'ex-works. If you were shipping from Felixstowe for example, it would be FOB Felixstowe, you always have a named point after the appreviated (FOB / FCA / EXW)

In each case, the seller would be responsible for the ocean freight and clearance in Australia. As Dzug says, there may be licenses and other costs in Aus on top of the customs duty.
Do not use any untreated solid timber packaging. Google ISPM15 for the current regulations. The aussies are red hot on this and you need the correct declaration.
If you decide to send your cargo personally, surely you will have to pay some extra fees, those are customs costs, shipping taxes as well as some others!
So why not engage an international freight forwarding company?

Hi, I recommend you to contact a cargo forwarding agent that can solve your customs problems. Last month my husband and I had holiday in China. So great China, and most places we visited. We bought many local special products. At last delivery came to be a problems for too many products we bought. For money and time saving we chose a cargo forwarder company in China--Goway Logistics, which my friend recommended strongly. That's really helpful, professional and reliable. If you also need that service you can contact them and visit their website to know the details: http://www.gowaylogistics.com
