Question Author
In NO WAY shape or form do I have to justify myself to such small minded people.... however, A little part of me is going to enjoy shutting you all up as (as Lofty quite rightly said) you have all read this question wrong and jumped down my throat... I think some of you actually just sit about on AB waiting to be a pain in the backside to people who are actually looking for a little INNOCENT advice and help!
Sunning myself on a beach for a year?! Who in the world does that?! And when exactly did I say that... presumptuous and wrong!
Thinking that I would take this money and run... again wrong!
Taxpayers money... yes... is it for free like these skanky people claiming benefits?! NO!!!
lcg76 you are wrong in your information. You CAN re-start it as millions of students do 'course interrupt', basically another way of saying 'a year out' and the course and its payments can be completed up to 5 years... and the £9000 fees doesn't apply to me.
My situation.... not that its ANY of your business but I've found that a chronic, sometimes debilitating, illness is affecting my ability to devote 100% of myself to my nursing degree,
Recent bereavement of my father hasn't helped (shockingly!) being 350 miles away from mum is hard when we haven't had proper time to grieve,
No savings or financial backing from mum or Uni because funnily enough you have to be a single parent or from another country to get help from anything to do with the government! (im not even gonna get onto the subject of the feeble excuse of a job that would be waiting for me at the end of this Nursing degree is I carry on/come back!)
Those issues topped with about 4-5 more are making me consider this NOW... it was not a pre-planned thing... sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you just try to do the best you can do with the situation you have been placed in... so please, take this as a lesson to all of you who mis-judged me, you are ALL wrong in your comments, none of you have even touched upon the REAL reason that this might have to happen, because let me tell you... moving over 350 miles away from my family as soon as my dad died was NOT an easy decision.
All I can say at this point is to thank those lovely people who have read this as it was meant to be read... you are true AnswerBankers and I think you are all lovely people who we need more of in everyday life, Thank you guys for understanding! I look forward to hearing your well educated comments again in the future and will continue to ignore (from now on) those un-educated people who see what they want to see!
Much love to you, be blessed and take care xxx
