Unfortunately I do not own a property, the CSA are taking £73 a week from my wages by a deduction from earnings order for a debt of £35K Question:- could I obtain an unsecured loan from somewhere to cover this debt and get them off my case! at a lower repayment amount ?

I think you would be very unlikely to find a loan of that amount without some sort of security. £15k used to be the amount Banks would consider unsecured and I should think they have tightened up on these days.
how on earth did you amass a £35k debt to CSA ?
You'd be well-advised not to do as you propose.
The way it is, you pay off what has been assessed as what you can afford (though appreciate you may not see it that way). If you happened to lose your job, the position would change.
Take out a loan (which you are most unlikely to get) and then lose your job, you still have to pay back the loan - job or no job.
I think the CSA charges no interest on arrears for at least two years and then only a small rate of interest. I'm sure you won't beat that with any loan, if you could get one.
Go and see your bank - ask them - they might help you, rather than see you go under.
You won't be able to find a £35000 loan with a repayment figure anyway near a sfavourable as £73 a week.
Follow buildersmate's advice, is my advice
