I'm looking to buy some shares and wonder if anybody may be able to reccommend the best (cheapest) on-line share dealing service which deals with non London Stock Exchange. shares. I've heard that Barclays are pretty good but I don't know if they would deal in an overseas company that is listed in the Nasdaq, American and Swiss exchanges but not London. Anyone have any experience in this??

Barclays is the best by far. They have a flat rate fee and offer many buy / sell delay options. Don't forget to factor in the Stamp Duty costs, it can make the difference between winning and losing especially if you're day trading. I have traded the LSE with Barclays for a long while now and I have still not found a better all round deal. I often get offers of lower fee's but when you take the 'whole' package into consideration there's very little gains to be had. Better the devil you know. Good luck.

oooups, didn't read the question properly, you asked for one that deals with NON LSE stocks - sorry. I only trade on the LSE. I think the Halifax have a cross market system called IWeb - worth a look maybe. Sorry for wrong info.
