Flight Simulator X Help Needed

Last week I purchased Flight Simulator X Deluxe and I have been playing around and I have done all the missions etc but I am bored of the default planes so..I have downloaded some aircraft but every time I try to put them in the aircraft file they do not show when I open the game up, I am using 7 zip and “ copying “ the aircraft file over to the fsx aircraft file! How can I get these planes on ?

Hi, can't answer this one but you may be better off reposting in the game section. You will probably get more answers. Can say though that when I put extra aircraft on my flight sim I found the new ones after selecting aircraft make then going to the next section ie model and they were in there.
