camping in Folkstone

Has any one ever camped near the sea front in Folkestone, with the Caravan and Camping Club? Can you please tell us if it was a good site and what to expect! many thanks x

I've heard its a nice site, but busy and very popular with families. Better to go off peak if you're able to or avoid school hols if possible.

hiya, have read the links that buenchico sent me --sounds a lovely place!
We wouldnt go in school holidays , so any time now will suit us fine.

will have to ring the site for info concerning tele reception, voltage for heater etc.
We even take the kitchen sink with us x lol

Telly reception?

It should be excellent. The site is only 2.2 miles from the main regional transmitter. It's currently transmitting both analogue and digital signals. (The digital switchover on that transmitter doesn't happen until June 2012).
