solicitor letter

is it ethical for a solicitor to sign of a letter to you with the words 'this letter is important do not ignore it or you will suffer the consequences'. its from my exes solicitor demanding monies his client thinks i owe him. the letter is not a without prejudice letter. thanks

i dont see why not - after all all the solicitor is saying is the truth - it IS important and if you ignore it there probably WILL be consequesces
