iva advice required

Hi
I am going to start an iva. I have had a few quotes from different companys. One said to send a �1.00 gesture of good will to everybody I owe money to until the iva has started otherwise they may start court proceedings etc. One said do not pay anything. What do I do? send these �1.00 payments or not??

Send token payments and advise the companies concerned that you are applying for an IVA. I sent token payments to all our creditors until the IP told me not to.
