Sharm El Sheikh buying gold jewellery
We are going to Sharm El Sheikh at the weekend for a week. I was wondering if anyone has bought any gold jewellery lately and can give any tip on the price to pay? It is sold by weight apparently. Is it good quality and a good buy?

We went at christmas last year and I saw a ring that I really liked, one diamond and six emeralds. The feller in the shop show me what he said was the Egyptian hallmark and put a machine on it that bleeped to show that the stones were all real. I needed the ring to be made bigger and we did not notice anything wrong with it till we got back home, when one of the emeralds fell out. We took it to a jewelers to be fixed and they told us the gold and stones were all false.We did not buy the ring from a back street shop but the shop actually in the hotel foyer. We lost �180, so pease do be carefull.
