smoking tap

i wonder if anyone can help me..

after i run my cold water tap and turn it off again , it appears that "smoke" or more likely steam (water vapour) comes out..

does anyone know what this is ? and is it dangerous?

more than likley just vapor, the cold tap reacting with the hot steam form the bath . dont worry  your bath wont explode...BOOM!!!

heheeh thanks, but this is from the kitchen tap! not in the bathroom and no hot water through it as not a mixer tap ...
