SHould I depend on Medicare for Long Term Care

Since a portion of our taxes goes to Medicaire, do we already have a covergae for long term care?

Are you in the US? This is UK based site so whilst you may get some responses you will probably have more luck on a US site
As Factor30 says, most people on this site are in the UK, where Medicare doesn't even exist (since, like most countries in the world, we have life-long state-funded care anyway).

The answer you should not depend on Medicare for your health care needs..Did you know Medicare can cover only a maximum of 100 days in a nursing home? If you have the so-called Medicare supplements you may extend the coverage. I advise you to read this http://www.completelo...sources/medicare.aspx
