I did my tax return about a month ago, but have recently realised that I have missed out a whole chunk of payments I received straight into my bank. It amounts to about £2000. Do you think I should contact them and let them know, add it to my next tax bill, or do they just not check unless your being investigated, where I could just say I forgot... I didnt make enough to pay tax, but this might of just put me over the limit (slightly)
thanks

The tax return I handed in on 25th may was dealt with and they paid back the overtax today, I think it's too late now,
I suggest you tell them- if there will be no tax liability you won't lose anything. On the other hand if you don't tell them and they find out it could make things awkward for you.

yes think your right.. even if its too late at least it wont look like im trying to pull a fast one!!
File a repair to the return.
Simply resubmitting a corrected return will override the original.
Personally I would not try to do it by telephone
