This Orange contract phone keeps cutting out when I am speaking to someone. I have a friend around the corner with an Orange phone who has the same problem, he can only use his phone outside his house, although mine works indoors but then cuts out. Orange put me through to Nokia customer service who told me to take it into one of their Carphone Warehouse shops which mend "while you wait", although now I seem to remember buying it online direct from Orange. I can't find the bill though. I bought it last September 09 and I was told by customer service that the phone needs updating. Could this be the problem? If I bought it online would Carphone Warehouse help me ? It is quite a journey to the "while you wait" repair shop so I don't know whether to go or not. I had a lovely excuse from my local Carphone Warehouse --- someone had stolen the copper from the transmitter! Orange knew nothing about this, surprise surprise. Trouble is, these places want to sell phones, not mend them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried cleaning out the battery and the SIM to see if that would help so fingers crossed. Thanks everyone in advance.
