Can anyone tell me what the difference is between rental payments per month for a commercial premises and a licence fee per month ?

Dont worry about it, licences normally apply to premeses that are used for industrial use rather than retail, they are also commonly found in subsidised premeses. so in conclusion, your rights as the licensee dont detract from those you have as a renter. hope that helps
