The surmountable fizziness of Diet 7-Up.

Has anyone else ever noticed how Diet 7-Up is much fizzier than any other carbonated beverage, at least in my experience. I am not talking about after having shook the bottle or anything, just generally. Almost every time I've tried to open a bottle I will have to unscrew it very gently and usually will have to tighten the lid again a few times before being able to remove it fully.

Does anyone know the reason for this, or has anyone else noticed this?

I think there should be an "in" there somewhere.
No, have not noticed that, but will try it later. I can only think of very tasteless jokes about NASA and Snow White and this particular brand of fizzy pop.
Midweek I opened my first bottle of Tesco's sparkling water and it sprayed everything within 6'.
