Just thought I'd drop in to let you all know the op went well and I was very surprised when the hospital let me go home after two days so was home friday afternoon! Have suffered a bit since with the pain which got worse and by this morning was really struggling as the plaster had started to rub the back of my leg. Ended up in A&E this afternoon and had to have a large...

Ho hum. Go for something "naughty, but nice". The milk marketing board told me cream cakes fit the bill. Not had one for ages. I'm sure there must be a low cal low fat one out there somewhere if I look hard enough.
Well OG I am with you on that one but I think that a search won't turn up a low cal cream cake. I will be your friend for ever if you can find one lol.
Oh deary me, I shall be on the naughty step over Christmas. We went to a gourmet Christmas lunch. Gourmet means things are fried in butter I think.....anyway need I say more!!

Being the nice person that I am I hope I shall be sitting here on my own as the rest of you celebrate a well deserved Christmas feast. :-)
Xstitcher a lunch like that is to be enjoyed .I don't deserve to stay the same so I will have to have a few good days.
I accept it has not been a good week, I only hit target one day, yesterday, mainly due to work's dos and other things, but the scales are just being viscous.

Yesterday I was below target intake, but over the last 24 hours I'm allegedly up ⅝ lbs ?!? And I'm seeing a rise for the week of 2⅝ lbs !

And I'm unlikely to be able to weight myself and post it until the new year, so effectively ending the year on a duff note.

:-(
Well you can join me OG
I'm down half a pound this week, and have decided to stop as I am. I really wanted to go under nine and a half stone, but it's just not happening! I keep fluctuating between nine stone eight and nine stone ten. As it's p*ssing me off that I can not reach my goal, I've changed my goal posts to the weight I am now. I will stick with the Wednesday Weigh-Ins to keep myself in check. And I wish you all A Very Merry Christmas and Thank You for being the best gang on Answerbank!
Well done notafish and all the best now for keeping your weight as it is. I wonder if our bodies just say....enough!! I hope you enjoy your new weight.
Thanks Xstitcher, and thanks again for starting this group :-)
Hello Notafish if you feel comfortable at that weight try and stay with it .You know what to do if you start to gain and I am sure you will rectify it.Have a merry xmas and a happy ney year.
Well when I posted my first thought I had NO idea that it would blossom into this and I am just delighted to find others like you notafish that need help like I did and still do.

I feel also that I have made some friends here...
When you first posted this nearly 2 years ago you got a reply saying that we should not at our age bother what we look like then I replied and yes looked what you have done . I bet there is a lot of fat been lost between us all. Keep on Onwards and Downwards for another year everyone.
Well done Notafish. I too am happy with the weight I have reached . I am the same this week but expect to be up next week as I have a few dinners etc but will definitely lost it again in January. Many thanks to xstitcher as I had just about given up hope of losing the extra weight when i was pointed in this direction and as they say, the rest is history!
I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Lighter New Year!!
A Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you too Spotit and as you say a lighter New Year.
Thank you Wendilla and Spotit too, and A Happy New Year to all! :-)
Congratulations to Notafish and Spotit3, you've both done tremendously well.

I've lost another 1lb this week and am am just a few pounds off my next milestone.

Still a way to go as I'm a "large" now rather than an "XL" but that's a great feeling thanks to all your support on here. So I'll be back in the New Year if not before, for more of the same and wish you all a joyous Christmas.
well done all - I'm the same this week (I'd hoped to lose a few more pounds before Christmas, but hey ho - the world is full of good intentions!).

Happy Christmas to you all!
Well done maidup....you are well on your way to getting there. Coming down a size is truly an accomplishment.

As you said boxtops good intentions are flying around out there, especially at this time of the year, but you managed to stay the same so give yourself a pat on the back..
